I found some pictures that I haven't seen for a long time on my little memory card. I had to show Katie, Heather and Jenny what I looked like with blond hair. It was a little blast from the past for me. Seeing this picture of Kinley also makes me realize that her and Sadie really do look like sisters.

Last Day In Raleigh
This post is a little out of order, but here are some pictures of our lunch outing with our friends the last day we were in Raleigh. Kinley is sitting on Katie's lap, then there is Heather and her two girls Sadie and Ally, and then there is Jenny and her girl Ally, and then of course me and Sade. Kin seems to like lemons. Anytime someone has one in their drink, she likes to steal it and suck on it. How many two-year-olds like to eat lemons? We then have Kin and friend Sadie playing a little ring around the rosies while they were waiting for the moms to take care of the bill. The last one is with friend Carley and Ally. Carley wanted to come say good-bye to Kinley before we left. She made a little bracelet for Kinley to remember her by. It was super cute and sweet of her.
The Pond By The Library
Right next to our apartments we have a library that Kinley, Sadie and I walk over to. We feed the fish and the four turtles with some bread or goldfish. They love it and it gets us out of the apartment for a little while. The other day I just had fun taking pictures of them playing on the bridge. These are the pics.

The Binki Fairy
We FINALLY did it! I talked the Binky Fairy into coming and switching Kinley's Binky's for a water baby. She really really liked baby Ally's water baby and we often had a difficult time convincing her to give it back when baby Ally would leave. So, I thought that would be the perfect replacement for her usual comfort. So far it has worked. She takes the water baby everywhere with us and it sleeps by her at night. She is a very good mom to it. She even has a little basket that she says is the baby's car seat. She has a good imagination. She also likes it to be nakie and then wraps it up in a hand towl or dish towl, which is used for the blaket. Cam said that we are calling the baby Chubishue (or however you spell it). I am not quite convinced that she should call it that but, for now it will do. The pictures show Kinley not wanting to give up the Binky's, then the note that her and I wrote to the Binky Fairy to let her know Kinley was ready to trade her Binky's in, and finally her with her new baby. So far it has worked pretty well. She still asks for her Binky, but I just tell her that I don't have them because she gave them to the Binky Fairy. She seems to accept that. My little girl is growing up.
More Pool Times
Washing Cars
Jenny and I decided to wash and vacuum our vehicles before we left Raleigh. Of course the kids helped us out and had a good time playing in the water and the bubbles. We had a lot of fun at first, but by the end, the girls were all ready for a good nap. The one with Sadie and Ally in the bucket of water is pretty funny because Ally climbed in the bucket all by herself. It was like a mini bathtub for her. We were lucky to have an apartment complex that had a car care center where we could wash the cars and vacuum them. It was nice.

Carolina Beach
Today the office went to the beach since they met their goal this week. We went to Carolina Beach where we could drive the pickup right onto the beach. This worked out great because we did not have to pack our things and walk. The girls LOVED playing in the water! Kinley loved to have the waves splash her. Someone made a little kiddie pool in the sand before we got there and the kids also liked to play in that. Now we can say that we have seen the east coast. It will be a fun memory to leave North Carolina with.

Escaping the Heat
Yesterday we went to the mall with Jenny and her daughter Ally, and Katie so that the kids could play without going out into the blistering heat. The temperatures yesterday and today are supposed to be around 103 with a heat index of 111 yesterday and 115 today. That is even to hot to go to the pool and enjoy it. So, we hit the mall and all three kids loved playing on the little rides and in the kid play area.
Our Friend From the Pool
Here is our friend Carly who Kinley became friends with down at the pool. She is another friend who Kinley just loves to play with. Kin gets excited to see Carly at the pool when we go down to swim. Carly has been over to the apartment to play with Kin a couple of times. They are eating Popsicles and blowing bubbles in these pictures. She is such a cute, sweet girl and gets along with Kin so well. It has been fun to get to know her.

The Tower
So, I went into the bathroom the other day and found Kinley building a tower with all of the toilet paper that I had stored under the sink. She has a great imagination and can find many uses for so all sorts of things. Here is what Kin has to say about that : yyr55.fkfrjgtjgcxkgcxljgtythhwyy4 (she wanted to help type)
